Volunteer with Oaks!
Peer-support ministry rooted in the local church.
Who can volunteer?
Oaks volunteers come from all walks of life. The barriers to entry are minimal because we believe the local church is filled with people equipped to walk alongside others.
You do not need mental health credentials to volunteer with Oaks. What you do need is a heart for people, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to your own growth.
Two simple requirements
- A follower of Jesus— rooted in a personal relationship with Christ and committed to growing in faith.
- Connected to a local church community— actively participating in the life of a local congregation, whether an Oaks partner church or another body of believers.
Everything else, we will train you on. Oaks provides comprehensive orientation, ongoing coaching, and a supportive community of fellow volunteers so you are never serving alone.
