Oaks Ministry Collaborative
For Churches

Volunteer Development

Peer-support ministry rooted in the local church.

Who Can Volunteer

Called to walk with others through healing

Oaks volunteers are ordinary people with a heart for others and a willingness to be trained.

You do not need mental health credentials, a counseling degree, or years of ministry experience. What you need is a genuine faith in Jesus, connection to a local church community, and a willingness to engage in your own healing process while walking alongside others in theirs.

Many of our most effective volunteers are people who have experienced real suffering—and who are a few steps ahead in the healing process. Their credibility comes not from a credential but from lived experience, supervised training, and the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit.
